24 Season 7: "Hey There Almeida" Music Video

Let's get one thing out of the way- the vocals are bad. It's my voice, and I have no illusions of being a singer. I'd like to think the tone-deaf noises I make only enhance the comedic effect of the song. If this offends you on a religious/emotional level, please accept my apologies in advance. And feel free to rip on me too, I think I may deserve it.

Now, I present to you my Eddie Murphy music-moment. Enjoy!

First of all, I happen to like your voice. Secondly, I wanna laugh (and I will, eventually), only I really do miss the real Tony, and your video -- in the oddest of all possible ways -- hit me right in the melancholy.

I don't know what's happened to this show.

Yeah, I agree with TJ. As much as I'm trying to accept he's a badguy, and hey he does a good job at it...with the whole dark, bad facial hair, and the black clothing, and his not-giving-a-shit-about-anything/anybody, but it is hard. I still love him.

And great job Adam, your voice hit the right type of sound for this video. Thanks for the screenshot of my blog! :)

I greatly enjoyed it! Very clever lyrics, decent voice... and as the other commenters have mentioned, hits you right in the gut. Especially the pictures of Michelle. What happened to THAT guy?

Aww man. I also miss the real Tony. *sniff* Great lyrics. How covienient Almeida kinda sounds like Delilah!

Fabulous!!

Thanks, gang! I really appreciate the feedback.

And Squish, sadly the match of "Almeida" and "Delilah" was pretty much the entire reason for the song. I was singing to myself some made-up lyrics while driving around the other day. You called it!

First of all, I HATE (with a DEEP BURNING PASSION) the Plain White Ts song you spoofed for this. So I can't make up my mind whether I loved or hated your version because of that. But very clever either way.

Second, I'd just like to thank you for selecting what could possibly be the most unflattering screenshot of me ever.

Kasia- dude, I gladly picked the goofiest moment possible from your video debrief. And I love how Kat's like "Uh-huh... crazy!"

And the song drives me insane too. As I was writing the lyrics, I had to listen to it a few times to get the pacing down, and yeah... I was about to lose it towards the end of the "production." But I was on a mission... glad you got a kick out of it too.

I dunno about the Plain White Ts song. I generally don't like anything that's not at least 25 years old, but compared to other terrible pop songs and douchebags with guitars, "Hey There Delilah" is one that probably wouldn't drive me nuts if I had to listen to it every day on the radio.

This video is too great. I am LMAO.

I am sorry but I cannot accept Tony as a villian. He is either "not" the real Tony or he is still good and is only setting things up to get to the top people. Some "collateral" damage is the price he's willing to pay for the cause of saving the world. Tony be good...

What if it was an impostor Tony?

Are you guys excited that we will see Henry Taylor and Ethan Kanin this week?

Yes! Irish Stew was a tip of the cap to you and your most excellent recipe. Sackniks, go to Rickey's site and get his formula for tastiness.

OK, Adam, that was frakkin' awesome. Seriously.

First off, the lyrics were hysterical (Winnie the Pooh? brilliant). Second, your voice isn't half bad. Third, I loved all the different Tonys you showed (the tiger!). Fourth, I actually don't mind the original song, I think it's kind of pretty. Fifth, AWESOME.

Seriously, you need to quit your day job.
